Dear Colleagues,

I am delighted to inform you that Brook are offering open access professional training in the New Year.

Brook provides quality training to the Children and Young Peoples Workforce. In a 2015-16 survey 97.6% of Brook training participants rated our training good or excellent and earlier this year Brook delivered Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse Boys and Young Men training nationally which was commissioned by the NHS. Our training is designed to create a stimulating learning environment which encourages reflection, challenge, sharing of best practice and personal development.

Our training is designed to create a stimulating learning environment which encourages reflection, challenge, sharing of best practice and personal development.

At the heart of our training ethos is the knowledge that good quality training for those working with young people helps to counter health inequalities and improve the wellbeing of young people.

All training is underpinned by young people’s views and will not only better equip you to work with young people but it will provide guidance and support on how to challenge discrimination connected to sexuality, race and disability. This is of huge value, since evidence shows that discrimination can seriously impact upon a young person’s health and emotional wellbeing. Our training is also created and delivered in line with our  education and wellbeing values.

The open access training dates and topics are below and all of the training can be booked online via Eventbrite by following the link here.
