Good morning,

Wigan Council’s Major Projects team are writing to you today to share a programme of consultation and engagement in relation to the Ashton Sustainable Travel Routes scheme, a scheme that aims to improve road safety and make it easier and more attractive for people to walk and cycle for short journeys in the Ashton-in-Makerfield area.

Outline designs have been developed which we are keen to share with you for further comments and feedback.

Consultation for this scheme was launched on Monday 26th February for four weeks and we would love to hear your views, using our virtual engagement platform below “Citizenslab.”
