Astley & Tyldesley Cycling Club are resuming some of their activities this week! Following a near four months closure of activities, cycling clubs in England have received
clearance from British Cycling to resume some club night activities, albeit it limited under strict regulation and restrictions.

A&T are resuming their weekly club cycle speedway training nights this Tuesday, at Gin Pit, 5.30 pm start, holding three sessions as before, for Juniors, Intermediates and 1st team
squad. The list of requirements includes sessions being limited to a maximum of six participants (including the coach), social distancing to apply, so no racing or physical contact
permitted. Riders are required to pre-book to attend each session.

British Cycling has announced that all national championships and series for spring and summer disciplines have been cancelled. The International Cycle Speedway Federation has
moved the World Championships in Australia back twelve months to November 2021. There remains a possibility of some local and regional league racing taking place this year,
should social distancing regulations be lifted.

A&T are also able to resume their leisure road and off road rides, again complying with social distancing requirements, and limited to six riders in a group.
