Managed by the Royal Society of Wildlife Trusts, Biffa Award is part of the Landfill Communities Fund, and it offers funding through its Main Grants programme for work that benefit an entire community.
Applicants will need to decide which of the following themes is most relevant to their project as there can be no crossover between them
Biffa Award provides grants of between £10,000 and £75,000 as long as the total project cost does not exceed £200,000 inclusive of VAT. Third-party contributions of 10% are required.
There is a two-stage application process. Expressions of interest can be submitted at any time and will receive a decision within a week of submission. Those that are successful will be invited to submit a full application form within six weeks of the invitation. Applications are considered four times a year, and it can take up to six months for a decision to be made.
