Big Alcohol Conversation

Earlier this year MACC took part in the Big Alcohol Conversation, hosting focus groups to find out more about what people thought about issues around alcohol in the City of Manchester – such as whether there should be minimum pricing for alcohol, how alcohol impacts – positively and negatively – on a successful night-time economy in the city, and how alcohol affects people’s health.

For feedback about the findings of the research, and to learn more about how it will be developed in to an alcohol strategy for Greater Manchester, come to a Big Alcohol Conversation next steps session at Macc on 14 November.
