Bill Lythgoe Exhibition

Bill Lythgoe lives in Shevington and taught at the primary school in Miles Lane from 1966 to 1992. 

He has been writing poetry seriously for about eight years. During this time, he has won prizes and been published in Writing Magazine five times. He won second prize in the Sentinel Literary Quarterly and has won prizes awarded by Fire River Poets.  

Bill has been published by Earlyworks Press, I Am Not A Silent Poet, Strong Verse, Gordon Square Review (Cleveland Ohio), Forty 20 (the Rugby League magazine) and Southport Fringe Poetry.

He was shortlisted in the Grist chapbook competition in 2013 and his work has been included in a wide range of other publications.
