Ambition for Ageing was set up in 2015 with funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, aimed at creating more age-friendly places in our city region and empowering people across Greater Manchester to live fulfilling lives as they age.
Over the last seven years we have involved over 21,000 older people and have funded over 120 organisations and groups across Greater Manchester to deliver over 1,500 age-friendly projects, each co-designed with older people.
As we prepare for the end of our programme in March 2022, we want to celebrate the programme’s impact and ensure that our learning and legacy lives on.
