Support for Enterprising BAME Communities
Recent local research has identified the need to establish high quality business support to Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) social businesses across Greater Manchester. A briefing report for the research is available here.
GMCVO in association with Greater Manchester BAME Network have accepted all the recommendations from the research. In order to deliver required business support to BAME social entrepreneurs, we are establishing the Greater Manchester BAME Social Enterprise Network.
The official launch event for the network is Monday February 24th 2020, 10.30am-12.30pm at Lloyds Bank on Market Street in Manchester city centre.
The network will give BAME social entrepreneurs the opportunity to:
- Network with and learn from their peers.
- Learn from experts
- Develop their skills in key aspects of running a business
The network will meet regularly to hear from expert speakers, exchange skills, ideas, knowledge and experiences.
