Current Support Available for Older Adults

Following the recent announcement, we are keen to understand what support is going to be available for older adults during the next phase of lock down – eg telephone support, food visits, medications visits, keep in touch companion calls, IT support, online activity, social connections, activity, etc.

Whilst I appreciate the announcement was only made yesterday, many of you / your teams will have been continuing with some of the previous fantastic work that was being undertaken anyway, so wondered if you can please share any current activity/ plans for the next few weeks that will work toward ensuring local older people can stay safe, well and connected during this challenging time?

This information will be shared with the wider local community resilience and welfare cell, so we can ensure the messages get out to those who really need them.

If you can let me know by Wednesday 13th January that would be very much appreciated.

Please do share with any other people who may be able to contribute and many thanks for your ongoing support and commitment to supporting local people to age well.

Kind Regards
