Shared Lives Champions, are looking for people with big hearts, who can make a difference to the lives of our vulnerable customers across the borough.
We support with day sessions, respite and full time placements. Shared Lives Champions do receive a modest payment for their time and expenses as well as a programme of Wigan council training and the full support of the staff team. Champions are able to choose who they support, they are carefully matched to customers based on shared interests, hobbies or simply because they get on well.
Specific Skills Required : You just need a big heart, time to spare and a willingness to support vulnerable people

|Empathy North West – We are looking for a Volunteer Fundraiser to help us raise vital funds and also help to spread awareness about the services we provide.|
Here at Empathy we are always in need of support from local communities and supporters. Whether that be regular donations, volunteering, or just attending some of our events, we are extremely thankful for the kindness and support from all of those who help us keep our doors open so we can deliver much needed counselling to those in need of support.
Role: Working with our team to develop an ethical fundraising plan based on the needs of the organisation.
