Difficult Dialogue: COVID-19 and Young People’s Resilience
May 12 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Bury and online
Our next Difficult Dialogue on ‘COVID-19 and Young People’s Resilience’, in partnership with many wonderful organisations, will give you the opportunity to discuss the effect of COVID-19 on young people and how they should be supported, and support each other, in the months ahead.
In-person venue: Peel Room, Bury Town Hall. Zoom link will be sent after registration.
We will address key questions including:
How has the disproportionate effect of COVID-19 on minoritised communities affected young people?
How should we respond to the huge increase in mental health issues amongst young people?
What can young people do to build their, and their peers’, resilience going forward?
The format for dialogues is a conversation and not a debate. People can share personal experiences and opinions. When we disagree we do so with respect. This is about listening and sharing.
All discourse should be undertaken in a spirit of understanding, hearing others – an antidote to ‘fake news’ and conflict-speak.
