The following few months are going to see Greater Manchester Coalition of Disabled People (GMCDP) entering a new development stage and they would like to extend the opportunity for members to become involved also. Project worker Gemma would like to run a series of workshops that will offer a unique opportunity to shape the way GMCDP continues it practices.
These sessions will be held online via zoom and can be booked through the links provided:
Do you know what a DPO is?
- Would you feel comfortable explaining GMCDP to a friend?
- Do you know why we hold the views and values we currently have?
Join GMCDP on: Friday 19 February, 4pm-6pm
GMCDP have been around since 1985 and have a prominent representation amongst many Manchester services and organisations. Staff are excellent at portraying this message but would you, as a member, feel you could accurately do this? Come and join GMCDP to learn the ins and outs, why they have certain views and standpoints that may be different to anything you’ve heard before. GMCDP would hope you leave with a deeper understanding of their organisation and also feel closer to your local politically active disabled community.
To let GMCDP know about your access requirements or if you need any support to access these sessions, contact Gemma Roberts mobile / Whatsapp: 0736 775 5691, Email: [email protected] (Preferred), Facebook / Twitter: @GMCDPGem
