Three years ago the Greater Manchester Housing Providers (GMHP) launched a pledge to maximise the social value we create through our supply chains and business processes. Since then a dedicated Social Value Group have been exploring how they can work together to make a bigger impact in Greater Manchester communities through the way that they do business and by influencing their supply chains.
In celebration of this work GMHP are hosting their first ever Social Value Conference to showcase these achievements so far and to share their learning. The event will focus on their ambition for the future and discuss how GMHP can work together to create a bigger impact for Greater Manchester.
There will be a keynote address from Paul Dennett, Salford City Mayor and interactive sessions on Being a Good Employer, Social Enterprise and Maximising Impact within Procurement and Regeneration.
The event will begin at 8.30 with breakfast provided by a social enterprise.
