Greater Manchester Nature for Health – addressing health inequality in GM

A new Green Social Prescribing programme, Greater Manchester Nature for Health, has been launched across Greater Manchester to make sure that more people can enjoy parks and nature to support good mental health and wellbeing.

An important part of this work is to make sure that everyone who wants to be involved in Green Social Prescribing can be, and has access to the most useful information, training, and resources.

We are creating a stakeholder led network for Greater Manchester to share these resources, provide updates and build capacity around Green Social Prescribing.

Anyone interested in learning more about and being involved in the programme is encouraged to join this group, via the link below.

To help us understand the type of training and resources that might be useful, the survey also asks questions about what is already happening and what you may find helpful in the future, by answering these questions we can create something useful for everyone in Greater Manchester.

We want as many people to be a part of this as possible, so please also forward this message on to your networks.

The survey will close on Sunday 5 September 2021.
