Applications for the Sport England Together Fund phase 4 are now open for organisations/community groups looking to tackle inequalities through supporting people to move more and engage with physical activity.
As with the last phase, there are 4 overarching audiences the fund will focus on:
· Lower socio-economic groups
· Culturally diverse communities
· Those with disabilities
· Those with long-term health conditions
Due to the rise in inactivity levels for certain groups within these audiences in Greater Manchester, GreaterSport will be prioritising funding towards projects focused on more specific sub-groups to support active lives for all.
These are outlined in bold below:
· Lower socio-economic groups – NS-SEC 6-8
· Culturally diverse communities –
People of South Asian and Chinese origin
· 3&4 Those living with disabilities or long-term health conditions – aged between 55-74 years
Applications that focus on the overarching audiences will still be reviewed by the GM Panel if they meet the criteria, however priority funding will be given to applications that focus on the Greater Manchester priority sub-groups.
How to apply:
Answer all the key questions found on the application form and send to firstname.lastname@example.org in your chosen format. Your application will then be reviewed at the next GM Panel meeting and you’ll be contacted with feedback/updates.
Deadline: whilst there’s no deadline for submitting applications, all approved projects must be delivered by March 2023 so please take this into consideration when applying.
