Greater Manchester and it’s 10 localities have been on the journey of developing its own Integrated Care System for several years since the devolution of the Health and Social Care budget in 2016.Come along to this session to hear more about what this all means for the future of Health and Social Care in Greater Manchester and how it might impact the VCSE sector. 
Warren Heppolette, Executive Lead, Strategy & System Development at Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership and Mike Barker, Chief Operating Office at Oldham Council and CCG will be presenting and answering your questions at the session.

The government’s goal is to speed up and simplify our procurement processes, place value for money at their heart, and unleash opportunities for small businesses, charities and social enterprises to innovate in public service delivery. Join us to discuss the what the proposals may mean for the VCSE sector in Greater Manchester. A briefing on the paper will be shared with attendees before the event.

GMCVO VCSE Assembly: Children and Young People School Readiness,
11th February 2021, 10:00 – 12:30
 
We know that families with pre-school and school aged children have experienced much of the fallout of the effects on the coronavirus pandemic. This Children & Families-focussed assembly will focus on the impact of the pandemic on children, how the VCSE sector has provided support and what is needed to ensure that children aren’t left behind when it comes to ‘building back better’ from the crisis.
