Inclusion Grants to support Deaf and Disabled people

Good morning,

We are seeking expressions of interest from voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations, working in Greater Manchester, for the benefit of Greater Manchester residents, to encourage a change in the narrative around disability by improving accessibility and inclusion for Deaf and disabled people.

This strategic grants programme, funded by GM Integrated Care Partnership, is part of the implementation of the recommendations from the Greater Manchester Mental Wellbeing & Disability Report.

We expect to fund around six organisations with grants of £7,500 – £15,000 to develop 12 month projects that will raise awareness of, and lead to change in the way that services, policies, practices, activities and events are created for Deaf and disabled people. Deaf and/or disabled people must be involved in all stages of the development and delivery of projects.

At this expression of interest stage, we only require contact details so we can let you know when applications open. We do not require brief proposals at this stage.

You can join our briefing event on Wednesday 26th June, 12:30pm – 2:00pm to find out more – register to attend here.
