In light of government announcements yesterday, the IoF North West Committee have taken the decision to cancel all networking and training events in March, April and May 2020. This hasn’t been an easy decision but we know it’s the right one and the best way to keep all IoF members and the the communities we work in as safe as possible. 

If you have booked on any of our training or networking events, we will be offering full refunds. If you registered through eventbrite, this will be done automatically. If you didn’t register through eventbrite, please email [email protected]

Please bear with us during this difficult time. IoF North West Committee is made up of volunteers who work in the sector, just like you. As a committee, we want to do everything we can to support each and every fundraiser in the North West region and we are working really hard to keep you all updated and connected. 
Information for fundraisers about Coronavirus

As the situation and official guidance for Coronavirus (COVID-19) develops, we want to make sure that our members, and everyone in the fundraising community, have the right information to help guide any action you might need to take or plans to put in place. The most important thing is people’s health and well-being. We want to ensure that you are prepared and informed should the virus spread further so that you can keep your supporters, staff, and volunteers safe.

The IoF website has a dedicated page for advice, information and support for fundraisers about Coronavirus which is being regularly updated, including what you and your charity may need to think about in the coming weeks and also a handy list of organisations and websites to access for additional information. 
 
IoF North East Virtual networking – COVID-19 support special

In view of current events there have been a high number of queries across local IoF committees, from how to set up remote working for your charity to the impact of COVID-19 on your fundraising. In response to this, our friends at IoF North East are hosting their first virtual networking event this coming Monday 23rd March. IoF North East have very kindly extended this to our region. 

They will be taking your queries and providing peer to peer support and expertise on topics including remote working, an increased focus on digital, turning mass participation events virtual and more! 

It will be FREE to attend, simply register on Eventbrite and we’ll send a link to join us remotely from 4pm-5pm on the 23rd March. If you have any queries you’d like to send in advance, please email these to  [email protected]
