A Wigan Borough business supporting adults following accidents has donated sports equipment to a community group that raises funds for local children.

ABI Case Management Limited, owned by Hindley resident, Matthew Unsworth, has signed up to Wigan Council’s Deal for Business, which encourages companies to get involved in the local community.

And, almost one year on from kick-starting his case management business, Matthew has purchased 30 sporting products including football boots, shin pads and shorts to donate to local community groups such as Daffodils Dreams, based in Poolstock.

Aiming to create new friendships in the community and raise funds for local children to give them opportunities to thrive, Daffodils Dreams was founded by Maureen Holcroft in 2018.

Daffodils Dreams runs a Chill and Chat café from St James with St Thomas Church in Poolstock and work hard to support local communities to come together.
