Greater Manchester Police launches Neighbourhood Policing Consultation in latest step to fulfill public promises made by Chief Constable.

The consultation, which went live on the GMP website earlier today (Tuesday 1 February 2022), takes the form of a brief questionnaire that will take around ten minutes to complete and will remain open for approximately six weeks.

It welcomes views from the public and has a very clear message: Your Neighbourhood; Your Police; Your Say.

All responses to the questionnaire will be used to assist the development of GMP’s Neighbourhood Policing Plan, which is a key component of Chief Constable Stephen Watson’s Plan on a Page improvement plan. A number of public meetings will also take place during the six week process and further details for these events will be announced soon.

By taking part in the consultation, members of the public will have an opportunity to directly influence how GMP will police their local community. The questionnaire can accessed by visiting the home page on the GMP website.
