Members of the Rotary Club of Astley having yet again been working hard to bring some Christmas cheer to the residents of Astley and Mosley Common.

The Club have been working out plans to safely bring Father Christmas and his sleigh round the Astley district again just before Christmas, whilst complying with all national and
local Covid-19 safety regulations and guidelines.

The Float will be touring the estates of the area, and this year street collections ARE permitted.

The Float will also be located outside the local Co-op supermarkets on Dec 12th (Cross Hillocks), Dec 18th & 19th (Gables – Stour Road), for youngsters to visit Santa. We are still operating under a carefully controlled environment, with Santa safely sat in the Float, fully enclosed behind a perspex screen, with marshals to ensure that children and parents adhere to social distancing and hygiene requirements, when queueing to view and talk to Santa.

We will be collecting whilst we are going round the streets, but people will also be able to make donations online to the Rotary Club of Astley

Note: We will do our best to get to most places, but due to access issues, we may need to stop nearby.

Follow us on our tracker, at Https:// <> to see Santa’s exact location when on our travels.

Details are also on the Rotary Club of Astley’s Facebook page and website, as well as some local social media sites.

Please note, that as the situation is changing all the time, the Club will not be in a position to confirm final details until much nearer the time.
