Grants are available for registered charities to support work that will improve the life chances of some of the most disadvantaged children (aged 0-3 years) in England and Wales by investing in early intervention and preventative work.
The Sylvia Adams Charitable Trust was established in 1996 in line with the stated wishes of Sylvia Adams, a professional collector of antiques and works of art whose career was at its peak in the 1930s and 1940s.
Currently, the Trust offers funding to registered charities for projects that aim to improve the life chances of some of the most disadvantaged children (up the age of three years) in England and Wales through early intervention and preventative work. The aim of the support is to:
Improve the reach to targeted groups of 0-3 year olds.
Bring about improved defined outcomes for these targeted groups.
There are two application windows in 2018 during which stage one applications will be accepted:
Between 26 March and 14 May. Grant decisions will be made in July 2018
