grants to voluntary and community organisations for work in the UK that meets the needs of people at the margins of society.

Aims/priorities: The Trusts focus for 2018 is Medical (non research) and Community. In all cases, priority is given to projects focussing on:

  • homelessness
  • domestic abuse
  • prisoners/offenders
  • training and education
  • counselling and support
  • better access to the arts for those who have limited opportunities
  • refugees and asylum seekers

Who can apply? Registered charities that work in the UK whose operating income must be a minimum of £100,000 and a maximum income of £1,000,000

Grant amount: Grants of £5,000 or £1,000 are available

Application process: Applications should be submitted online

Deadline: The application rounds are:

Community £1,000 grant: 1-31 July 2018

Health £5,000 grant: 1-30 September 2018
