Wigan Borough Bus Network Review – Have your say!

Greater Manchester is making the biggest changes to its public transport network in almost 40 years. Buses are gradually being brought under local control through franchising and will be planned and co-ordinated by Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM), on behalf of Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA).

We want even more people to choose bus travel, and as part of this we will carry out a series of Network Reviews to better understand services across the city-region.

Network reviews are a co-ordinated way to plan our bus network so it can help improve people’s lives. Every review will be evidence-based, using all the information available to us, including feedback from Community organisation in each district.

Why Your View Matters: Starting in Wigan Borough, we’re asking local Bee Network committees, communities, businesses, and elected members to help us understand the transport needs of their area.
